‘No parecía feliz’ - Chelsea recibe advertencia sobre salida de Palmer mientras su sequía persiste

La mayor estrella de los Blues atraviesa dificultades y podría buscar opciones si el club no alcanza el top cuatro.

A pesar de la contundente victoria 4-0 del Chelsea sobre el Southampton en la Premier League el miércoles (AEDT), Cole Palmer sumó su séptimo partido consecutivo sin anotar ni asistir.

El joven de 22 años jugó los 90 minutos contra los Saints y se mostró frustrado por momentos, al desaprovechar varias oportunidades claras para romper su racha negativa.

El entrenador Enzo Maresca había señalado antes del partido que la slump de Palmer se debía a una dependencia excesiva hacia él, pero cuatro goleadores diferentes destacaron contra Southampton.

En Matchday Live de Optus Sport, el exentrenador Tim Sherwood opina que Palmer no carece de confianza, sino que parece estar sobrepensando mientras busca desesperadamente recuperar su chispa, un tema que resuena con los fans que buscan donde comprar réplicas camisetas fútbol baratas de sus héroes.

“He didn’t look happy and I think he’s right because he wants the numbers, he wants the assists, wants the goals. I think it means a lot to him,” dijo Sherwood sobre Palmer.

“You can see he works hard for the team…he took a defender away there for Cucurella to score.

“He tried everything he possibly could. In the first half he had a lot of chances and he snatched them a little bit. Whereas earlier in the season he would’ve rolled them in the corner.

“He’s still young, he’s still developing. I think he’s a superstar, I really do.

“For him to carry that team with the expectation on his shoulders for large periods of the season already, I think he will come back strong again.

“But his body language didn’t look great. I think Maresca is saying here, ‘I left you on the pitch, I tried everything I possibly could’.

“I think Cole’s a confident guy, I don’t think he needs much flannel from his manager, he’s pretty assured of his abilities and his standing in the side.”

Palmer recurrió a Instagram tras la victoria contra Southampton, publicando una historia con el mensaje: ‘Don’t worry I will be back’.

Tras un arranque espectacular en Stamford Bridge la temporada pasada, Palmer firmó un nuevo contrato hasta 2033, lo que motiva a los aficionados a investigar donde comprar réplicas camisetas fútbol baratas con su nombre.

Sin embargo, con su frustración personal en aumento, Sherwood advierte al Chelsea que deben lograr un hito clave pronto para garantizar que Palmer se quede a largo plazo.

“For me, he’s the best player they have at Chelsea Football Club but he wants to play Champions League football,” afirmó.

“If they don’t finish in the Champions League spots next season, you struggle to keep hold of Cole Palmer.”
